My course fees were partly covered by the TTAF and partly by Fees Free. How is this calculated, and how much Fees Free entitlement have I used?

Fees are calculated by looking at the number of days in your courses before and after 31 December 2022. The Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF) covers the fees for the part of the course up to 31 December 2022.

TTAF pays the full fees where:

• the course ended on or before 31 January 2023, or
• the amount payable by the learner is calculated as $10 or less.

Fees Free then covers the rest of the fees for eligible learners. Learners only use Fees Free entitlement on EFTS, months, or dollars used after 1 January 2023. Study and training covered by the TTAF is not included in your Fees Free entitlement use.
