I withdrew from my study because of COVID-19. How can I get my Fees Free entitlement reinstated?

If you withdrew from a course between 23 March 2020 and 30 June 2020 and/or 17 August 2021 and 31 December 2021, the entitlement you used on the course has been proactively reinstated for you. You will be able to use this entitlement on future courses that you enrol in, and this will be applied automatically when you enrol.

However, if you withdrew outside of this timeframe you will need to appeal against the use of your Fees Free entitlement and provide evidence to the TEC as to how the COVID-19 pandemic/lockdown affected your ability to complete your course. You can do this by entering your NSN into the eligibility checker on the home page, and following the steps to submit a COVID-19 Entitlement Appeal using the webform.
