What do I do if I’m eligible for Fees Free but I’ve already enrolled in study or training?

First, please confirm your eligibility status by entering your National Student Number (NSN) on the Fees Free home page.

If your eligibility status is ‘Yes’ and you’re enrolled in eligible study or training, we’ll let your tertiary education organisation (TEO) know that you’re eligible. Your fees will be paid directly to your TEO, and you’ll be able to receive a refund for any fees you’ve already paid towards eligible study or training in that calendar year.

If you meet the eligibility criteria for Fees Free and your eligibility status is showing as ‘Maybe,’ you need to complete and submit a statutory declaration. Once your statutory declaration has been processed, we’ll let you and your TEO know your eligibility status.
