Does Fees Free cover fees related to recognition of prior learning (RPL)?

No. Fees related to recognition of prior learning are not covered under Fees Free. This means you may be charged fees for having your prior learning assessed by your tertiary education organisation or a registered assessor.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is also known as recognition of current competency (RCC) and assessment of prior learning (APL). RPL, RCC and APL are not covered, as Fees Free only funds formal teaching and learning activities that lead to qualifications.
