I’ve already done a course with zero fees. Does this count as prior study or training?

Fees Free is for first-time learners. All study and training you did before 2023 counts as prior study or training. This is regardless of whether there were no fees, whether someone else paid the fees for you, or whether you used a Student Loan for them.

However, any zero fee courses you undertake on or after 1 January 2023 – with zero tuition fees and zero compulsory course costs – do not count as prior study or training for your Fees Free eligibility.
