Is there a deadline for submitting my statutory declaration?

It’s important that you confirm your eligibility status for the calendar year that you start Fees Free eligible study or training.

You need to submit your statutory declaration within 12 months of the start date of your first Fees Free eligible course or programme to receive payment for this. We recommend that you submit your statutory declaration before or soon after enrolling, to make sure your fees are covered quickly and you do not incur late fees (note that late fees are not covered by Fees Free).

If you don’t submit your statutory declaration within 12 months of the start date of your first eligible course or programme, any eligible study or training you did will still count as you ‘using’ Fees Free, but we may not be able to cover the fees.
