How do EFTS work?

We use a measurement called equivalent full-time student (EFTS) to work out how much study you’ve done.

Every paper or course you do as part of your study has a certain amount of points or credits that represent the amount of study you do.

These points or credits convert to an EFTS value.

Usually, 0.125 EFTS is equivalent to 15 credits or points. 0.5 EFTS is usually equivalent to half a year of full-time study and one EFTS is usually equivalent to one year’s full-time study.

You can find out more about EFTS on StudyLink’s website.
